Graveside services for Mr. Barry Lynn Watts, age 53 of Childersburg, will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Poplar Springs Cemetery with Rev. Harold McCain officiating.
Mr. Watts passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 in Childersburg. Born and raised in Clay County, Mr. Watts spent the majority of his life as a truck driver for 15 plus years with Porter’s trucking. He liked to draw, play his guitar and listen to music. His brothers called him a Grease Monkey, because of his love of working on cars. Mr. Watts attended Victory Baptist Church.
Mr. Watts is survived by one daughter, Melanie Duke (Jessie) of Lineville; three brothers: Randy Watts (Denise) of Alpine, Michael Watts (Yvonne) of Ashland, and Jeffery Bolan of Lineville; one sister, Anita Watts of Lineville; three grandchildren: Zachery, Spencer, and Daisy Duke; plus a large extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Jay Watts and Sara Nell Mitchell Bolan, and one brother, Curtis Watts.
Active Pallbearers will be Randy Watts, Michael Watts, Jeffery Bolan, James Sellers, Logan Sellers, and Jared Sellers.
