Mrs. Judy Carol Hudgins, age 71, of Arab passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mrs. Hudgins was born on March 9, 1948 in Blount County to M.P. Alldredge and Dessie Sterling Alldredge. She was the glue that held her family together and loved babysitting her grandchildren, nieces & nephews. In her past time she enjoyed sewing and studying the Bible. She attended Pine Island Baptist Church and was a member at West Baptist Church in Arab.
Mrs. Hudgins is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lynell Hudgins; daughters, Sonya Bazzel, Sunda Logan; grandchildren, Ashton Bazzel, Heather Jones, Stormie Dudley, Brody Dudley, Alaric Logan; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley McCoy; host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Herchel, Rayburn, Wayne, Pate & Shearl Alldredge; sisters, Ann Lou Hathcock, Bobbie Alldredge.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Joe David Moore officiating. The family will begin receiving friends 2 hours prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home. A private family interment of cremated remains will be held at Rock Springs Cemetery in Blountsville. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisting the family.
