DECATUR-The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department issued a statement concerning the arrest of three people on several drug charges. These arrest came on Wednesday, January 15:
“On January 15th, 2020, Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Narcotic Unit, Lawrence County Drug Task Force, and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Drug Enforcement Task-Region F and E executed a search warrant in the 4900-block of Old Moulton Rd in Decatur.
The investigation began as Agents learned of possible drug activity occurring at the residence by the homeowner, Timothy Brian Tanner.
Upon arrival, Agents entered the home and made contact with Timothy Brian Tanner 33 of Decatur, Travis Lynn Jackson 27 of Danville, and Jessica Lynn Yarbrough, 31 of Hartselle. During the search, Agents recovered approximately two ounces of cocaine, methamphetamine, several pieces of drug paraphernalia, and a firearm.
After conducting the search, Agents placed Tanner under arrest for Trafficking in Cocaine, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Jackson and Yarbrough were placed under arrest for Loitering in a Drug House. All subjects were transported to the Morgan County Jail with Bonds pending.
