Patricia Henry Timberlake
October 05, 1944 – January 17, 2020

Pat was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to A. F. and Sara Turner Henry. She graduated from Northside High School and Vanderbilt University, where she met Kenan Timberlake. They married August 12, 1961 in Atlanta, and moved to Huntsville, Alabama in May 1962. She taught school in Davidson County, Tennessee and in Huntsville at Blossomwood School until she retired to raise a family. Pat enjoyed working in her flower garden, spending time with family, and crossword puzzles. She was thankful for the memories she made with her floral designing friends, neighbors, and bridge club members. Throughout her lifetime, she was a member of the Blossomwood Garden Club, Carillon Club, Huntsville Symphony Orchestra Guild, du Midi Woman’s Club, and the Madison County Bar Auxiliary, and was a founding member of the Huntsville Botanical Gardens. She served as a volunteer for the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra Guild, Botanical Garden, Burritt Museum, and many other charities.

She is survived by her husband, Kenan Timberlake; son, Michael Kenan Timberlake (Melissa); daughter, Stephanie Arden Timberlake; grandsons, Charlie and Andrew Timberlake; sister, Gloria Dotson; niece, Susan Woods; nephew, Steve Schick; and other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Catherine Patricia Timberlake.

Visitation will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church on January 20, 2020 from 1-3 p.m., with a service immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in support of Burritt on the Mountain or the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology.
