ZIP CITY – The Zip City Volunteer Fire Department and Friends invited Santa Claus over for a party Saturday night. And guess what? Santa stopped by! According to Robert Walker, a member of the Volunteer Fier Department, Santa arrived, not on his reindeer-towed sleigh, but in a Christmas-red fire engine! It all happened at the Wilson School Cafeteria when a few dozen families gathered for a Christmas party. There was more food and love spread around than you could shake a candy-cane at!
Naturally Santa came with loads of Christmas gifts for the boys and girls. So it was a guaranteed great time for the children and their parents. And just like that, Santa disappeared back onto the fire truck, and, now believe it or not… The fire truck seemed to life off from the road as it pulled out. Santa shouted, “Merry Christmas to all! and, to all, a Good Night!”
