Doyal Clayborn Wright, age 89 of Huntsville passed away Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Drue; children Claudia Ford, Allen Wright (Julia), Paula Dyer (Russ), Sharon Ward (John), Frank Wright (Becky), and Frank Hazelman; 24 grandchildren; and 48 great-grandchildren (the 49th great-grandchild is due in Dec. 2019 and will be named in his honor).
He was a retired engineer and Missionary to New Zealand and Fiji Islands. He was a Minister for 26 years in Lawrenceburg, IN. He served as an Elder at Central Church of Christ in Cincinnati, OH, and Piketon, OH, and was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Huntsville.
Visitation is Sat., Nov. 23, 2019, 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by his son Allen Wright. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Central Church of Christ Mission Fund or His Way Addiction Treatment Center.
