Reuben Wiley "R.W" WambleReuben Wiley “R.W.” Wamble, age 74, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away October 17, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Grace Leachman and his father, Lloyd Wamble; brother Calvin Densmore and sister Betty Densmore. R.W. is survived by his daughters Michele (Darrell) Capps and Traci L. (Micah) Cummings; grandchildren, Heather (Tim) Phillips, Garret Cummings, Dalton Cummings; great-grandchildren, James Wiley Phillips and Bane Phillips. R.W. was an extremely charismatic, fun-loving person. He never met a stranger and was always the life of the party. R.W. loved his grandbabies with all his heart. He served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era as a Commanding Officer at The United States Naval Reserve Manpower Center in Bainbridge, MD. R.W. also enjoyed blues music, hunting and fishing. Services will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home in Dora, AL. Visitation from 10–11 am. Chapel service will begin at 11am. Committal Service and Burial will be held at 1:15pm at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL. Bishop Bruce LeVan officiating.
