Funeral services for Mr. Cletus Lee Wade, age 104, are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, October 19, 2019 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Mr. Wade passed away late Wednesday in Lexington. He was born January 1, 1915 in Henderson County to the late Mark and Elector Stanfill Wade. He was retired from the State Highway Dept. and Century. He was a member of Center Point Apostolic Church, enjoyed mowing his yard, and loved visiting the Reagan Café and Sardis Senior Citizens Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Vernice Edgin Wade; eight sisters; and one brother. Survivors include his two sons, Donald Wade (Gail) and Ted Wade (Betty); daughter, Linda Austin; four grandchildren, Tim Austin (Tammy), Beverly Ivy (Jimmy), Shaunda Snider (Anthony), and Shane Wade; eight great grandchildren, Kade Ivy, Kamden Ivy, Casey Pratt (Brandon), Colten Snider (Brittany), Brooklyn Snider, Denver Snider, Victoria Wade, and Cameron Wade; and one great-great grandson, Greyson Pratt.
