Mildred Mitchell Raby, age 106.7 passed away August 1, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert “Hub” Raby of 58 years, two sonsin-law Joseph Haltom and Lawrence Watson, Jr, mother
and father Octa and Lucas Mitchell, six brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by two sons W.E. (Edith) and James E. “Jim” (Lorraine) Raby; three daughters Octa Watson, Nell Haltom and Ann Steele (Bob); fourteen grandchildren; and twenty five great grandchildren.
Mrs. Raby retired from the Madison County License Department after 24 years.
She was the oldest member of Harvest Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held on August 3, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Harvest Baptist Church immediately followed by funeral services. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
