Carl Brooks Sutton, 91, of Harvest, passed away Thursday. Mr. Sutton, a true Huntsvillian, graduated in 1948 from Joe Bradley High School and attended Florence State College. He worked for many years at NASA. He enjoyed landscaping and working in the yard. Mr. Sutton was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elois Sutton and three brothers.
Survivors include wife, Edna Sutton; son, Paul Gene Sutton; daughter, Carla Sutton Smith; grandchildren, Rachel Smith Brewer, Rebekah Smith Barnette, and Daniel Brooks Sutton; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, August 5th, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Randy Pyle officiating. Burial will in Maple Hill Cemetery.
