Mr. William Leonard Waye, age 96, of Decatur, died Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born April 19, 1923, in Pueblo, CO to Henry W. Waye and Helen Hill Waye.
Mr. Waye obtained an associate degree from Pueblo Jr. College, and was a lifelong baptist minister. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mable (Elliott) Waye, and two children.
He is survived by one son, Lawrence “Larry” Waye of Decatur; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
