Mary Sue Andrews Britnell, 83, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 at her residence. Born in Richard City, Tennessee, she had lived in Franklin County, Alabama most of her life. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a member of Gravel Hill Church of Christ.

Visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be Chuck Britnell, Brent Palmer and Jack Henson. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens, Russellville.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew Nix, Peter Steien, Devin Nix, Luke Britnell, Ben Britnell, Bo Britnell and Briley Palmer. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Hooper, Ryan Kee, Matt Montgomery and T.J. Beasley.

Mrs. Britnell’s survivors include her husband of 64 years, Charles W. Britnell; children, Charles W. “Chuck” Britnell, Jr., Alan Dale Britnell, Sharon Sue Britnell Steien and husband, Ottie and Tammie Lynn Britnell Nix and husband, Curtis; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Lou Howard and Mildred Lee Andrews and a great-granddaughter, Katlynn Erin Palmer.

Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
