Walter Erbie “Junior” Buford, 67, died Saturday, June 1, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Mississippi and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Belmont, MS.
Services will be Thursday, June 6, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Barry Holcomb officiating. Burial will be in Dennis Memory Gardens, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are two sisters – Betty Coleman (Jimmy) Belmont, MS and Elizabeth Woodard (Dean) Carrollton, MS; one niece – Amanda Harrell (Trent); two nephews – James Coleman and Lee Woodard (Josie) and one great-niece – Daisy Elizabeth Harrell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Erbie Walter and Mattie Lou Bowers Buford, one brother, William Buford and his grandparents, Johnny and Nezzie Bowers.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 6, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
