Arthur Calvin Johnes, age 58 of Sylacauga, passed away April 16, 2019 at the Regional Medical Center in Anniston. Born in Sarasota, Florida, he worked mostly as a Heavy Equipment Operator for SAIIA. He enjoyed cooking, horseback riding, and working on different things.
Mr. Johnes is survived by his wife, Paula Johnes of Sylacauga; two children: Tabatha Wheat (Don) of Troy, and Duane Cass (Brandy) of Lineville; two brothers: David Sydney Johnes (Janice) of Henderson, NC and Paul Johnes (Linda) of Ocala, FL; and three granddaughters: Kayla Wheat, Sydney Wheat, and Delila Cass.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
