Clarence Emery Weaver, 89, retired district manager for Western Auto and resident of Kedron Road, died Friday, February 22, 2019 at Poplar Estates.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Kenny McFarlen officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Born September 22, 1929 in Giles County, he was the son of the late William Henry “Will” Weaver and the late Sallie Crossland Weaver. He served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Weaver enjoyed farming, cars, and pick up trucks. He loved to read his bible and was a member of New Lasea Church of Christ.
Survivors include his daughters, Debbie (Daryl) Derryberry of Mt. Juliet; Tricia (Chris) Delaney of Old Hickory; sister, Nellie Weaver (Valton) Rummage of Columbia; brothers, Bill (Valree) Weaver of Woodbury; Jack (Faye) Weaver of Spring Hill; grandchildren, Wanda (Joey) Wilson, Shannon Derryberry; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Courtney, Jospeh, and Skyy; and several loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Samuel Weaver, George Weaver, Dock (Tennie) Weaver, Roy (Becky) Weaver, Hint Frierson Weaver, Eulala (Everett) Prestridge, Mary Kirk, Sara (Garland) Glenn, Jane Trimble, Neva Pearl (Dugin) Kincaid, Ola Mae (Ben) Andrews, Jr.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
