Funeral service for Edith V. Orr, 95, will be Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Harold Thompson and Bro. Joe David Bailey officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, February 1, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Orr died on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born February 8, 1923, in Morgan County to William Byrd Vest and Annie Ruth Woodall. She was employed as a dietician for Pineview and Hartselle Hospitals prior to her retirement. She was a member of Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her husband: Jack Orr, her parents, four brothers, one sister and one great grandson: Will Walker.
