Celia Dean Reaves, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the age of 86. Her visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Tim Justice officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Celia was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Howard Boyce; her second husband, Jessie Lee Reaves; sons, Paul Anthony Reaves and Jimmy Lee Reaves; granddaughter, Brandi Lynn Fountain; and grandson, Nathan Reaves.
She is survived by her son, Roger Boyce (Shelia); daughters, Kathy Boyce Howard (Larry), Terri Reaves and Brenda Nell Smith (David); brother, John Landers; grandchildren, Andrea, Chris, Stephanie, Rachael, Eric, Thomas, Miranda and Jessica; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the employees of Cottage of the Shoals Nursing Home for their loving care.
Pallbearers will be Chris Rickman, Brandon McIntyre, Chance McIntyre, Lee McIntyre, Matthew Justice and Bobby Frye.
