Charles “Buford” Hollis, Jr. , age 94 of Westpoint, TN passed away Sunday January 13, 2019 at Home after a briefillness. He was a native of Lawrence Co, TN, in 1944 he entered the United States Marine Corps serving in the Pacific during World War II, after 31 years of service he retired as a Supervisor with Firestone, after his retirement he returned to Westpoint and built his home on the family farm and started a sawmill, he cut lumber and railroad ties for the next 25 years, he also built furniture in his woodshop until he was 92. He was of The Protestant Faith. Funeral Services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Wednesday January 16, 2019 at 1:30 PM. Jerry McClain will be officiating. Burial will follow in Blair Cemetery with military honors at graveside..

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Wednesday January 16, 2019 at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
