David Leon Ruple, 71, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at his residence. He was born August 7, 1947 in Mississippi to Hubert Ruple and Betty Crane Ruple. He was a logger for sixty years.
Services will be Friday, November 16, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. James Herman Gray and Bro. Donnie Wooten officiating. Burial will be in Dennis Memorial Gardens, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are two sons – Randy Ruple (Michelle) Golden, MS and James Ruple (Venesa) Dennis, MS; two daughters – Amy Washington (Tony) Fairview, MS and Jennie Gasaway (Gary) Belmont, MS; one sister – Judy Thorne (Melvin) Golden, MS; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren on the way; four nieces and his best friend – Stevie Brazil.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Melissa Ruple, a sister, Rita Faye Box, a grandson, Casey Burns and a best friend, Randall Lewey.
His grandsons will serve as pallbearers – Dexter, Andrew, Alex, Patrick, Josh, Jordan, Blake, Shawn, Brandon, Dylan, Devon and Matt.
Visitation will be Friday, November 16, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
