Betty Jo Fisher, 77, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at Russellville Health Care. A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Fisher was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was also employed by Foster Grandparents and was retired from Bell South.
Visitation for Mrs. Fisher will be Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Wade Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens, Russellville. Pallbearers include Charles Canida, Pete Smith, Greg Hovater, Dan Terry, Howard Moore and John James.
Mrs. Fisher is survived by her cousins and caretakers: Roxann Pounders, Carrie Welborn (Daniel), Cristy Singleton (Adam), and Magen Sparks.
Preceding Mrs. Fisher in death were her husband, Willie Fisher (Junior); parents, Readum and Mattie Porter Pounders; and brother Hudon Pounders.
