Richard Hunter “Bo” Brown, 35, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. He was a graduate of Randolph High School and attended Auburn University and Calhoun Community College. He was an avid Auburn Football Fan. His greatest joys in life were his family, his friends, scuba diving, traveling, trucks, his dogs, deer hunting, poker playing, loved ones and cooking pasta. He loved adventure and experiencing new and interesting things in life. He had a desire to protect his loved ones and loved hugs. He had a big heart, was incredibly intelligent and a large sense of humor. Although his life was short, he loved so many people in his life. He had a beautiful, charming grin and knew the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Norfleet Brown. Survivors include his mother, Beverly Brown; sister, Rachel Brown Matthews and husband, Nate; nephew, Hudson “Bug” Meers, all of Huntsville; aunt, Diane Laster and husband, Ray, of Huntsville: aunt, Deborah Spears of Killen; cousins, Elizabeth Lee and husband, Larry, of Huntsville, Gus Spears and wife, Mary Anne, of Florence, Andrea Sanderson of Huntsville, Jennifer Lasater and husband, Tyler, of Huntsville, Joy Spears of Nashville, Tennessee; and David Toney and wife, Debbie, of Columbus, Georgia; and their respective children.
The visitation will be at 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. There will be a private family service.
