Funeral Service for Barbara Jean White, 80, of Decatur, AL, will be Monday, August 27, 2018, at 7 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ben Bates officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to service.
Mrs. White, who passed away August 24, 2018, at Decatur Morgan General, was born May 22, 1938 in of Muhlenberg CO, KY to the late Franklin and Velma McConnell Alexander. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy J. White; two sisters, Sue Campbell, and Georgia Ann Alexander; and three grandchildren. She is survived by her three sons, Billy White of Decatur, AL, Randy White of Oak Ridge, AL, and Jeff White of Neel, AL; one daughter, Brenda Broadway (Philip) of Athens, AL; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two special friends, Joyce Coffman, and Jaylin Ervin.
