Funeral service for James J. “Jim” Bentley, 84, of Eva, will be Monday, August 27, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home. Burial will be at Hamby’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Bentley died August 25, 2018 at his residence. He was born October 13, 1933 in Cullman County to James Marion Bentley and Inez Nix Bentley. Mr. Bentley retired as a Sergeant First Class from the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Martha Bentley. He is survived by sons, Ronald Bentley, Stuart Bentley, Steve Bentley and Jeff Bentley.
