Jeanette (Jan) Bray Sokolosky age 77 of Madison County, passed away July 22, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital.
She was raised in Franklin County, Alabama and attended Russellville High School class of 1959. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. She is a Child of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She will always be loved and missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents Marvin Smith Herring and Ethel Stancil Herring and one brother, Hillman McCoy Herring.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years Richard Sokolosky and her 3 sons; Tom Tillman, Byron Tillman (Tracy) and James Tillman. Brother Billy Hugh Herring (Charlotte),sister Carolyn Herring Montgomery (James) and sister-in-law Mildred Berryman Herring . Ten grandchildren; Phoebe Osterc, Rachel Gordon, Breanna Tillman, Brooke Tillman, Tabitha Tillman, Tyler Tillman, Zach Tillman, Allie Calvert , Kinsley Tillman, Ryan Bly and 7 Great Grandchildren.
Memorial Service will begin Saturday, August 11th at Spruce Pine Cemetery at 11:00AM. Spruce Pine, Alabama 35585.
