Motorcycle Accident Near Moulton Claims One Life

MOULTON-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports the death of a victim that was injured in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, July 21:

“A one vehicle crash at 11:30 p.m. on July 21, 2018, has claimed the life of a Danville man. James Todd Hogan, 52, died this morning at 5:33 am in Huntsville Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. 

The 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle Hogan was riding ran off the roadway in a curve and struck a guard rail.  The crash occurred on CR-87 in Lawrence County, 5 miles east of Moulton, AL.   Hogan was flown to Huntsville Hospital where he died on Sunday, July 22. 

Speed was a contributing factor in the crash.”
