Annie Mae Wood, age 80, of Sheffield, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018. Visitation will be today, June 29th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Saturday, June 30th at 11 a.m. at First Church of the Nazarene in Sheffield with Reverend Howard Wilson and Reverend Tim Brunk officiating. She will lie-in-state at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Billy Kilgore, Curtis Kilgore, Thomas Gooch, Dr. Ross Farris, Rex Farris and Brodie James Brown.
Annie Mae was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Sheffield and was retired as a clerk with Ben Franklin Dime Store.
Preceding her in death were her mother, father, brothers and sisters.
Survivors are her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Earl Austin Wood, Jr.; several nieces and nephews.
