Albert J. Bell. Jr. 85 of Corner, passed away Tuesday June 26, 2018 at his residence. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday June 30, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Corner. Dr. Sammie Reid and Chaplain Matt Griffin will officiate. Interment of cremains will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:00 am at the church.
He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Dale Bell; parents, Albert and Elsie Bell, Sr.; brother, Howard Bell and wife Margaret; sister, Bessie Jane Montgomery and nephew, Jerry Bell.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Bell; children, Rickey Moon (Shelby), Randy Moon (Jeanell), Bobby Moon (Deanna), Brenda Combs and Genita Gilkey (Toby); brother, John Bell (Janice); thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
