Mr. James Scott Morgan, age 52, of the Union Grove area, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Morgan was born on August 26, 1965 to James Carney Morgan & Janice Lee Rowland in Wilmington, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Marines for 4 years and the Alabama National Guard for 2 years. He worked for Boeing in Huntsville as an engineer. He was a Bible scholar and enjoyed tinkering in automotive mechanics, fishing, hunting, kayaking, camping and gardening.
Mr. Morgan was a member of Life Gate Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Janice Miller; wife, Teresa Del Hollaway Morgan; sons & daughter-in-law, James Wesley Morgan, Timothy Darrell Harper & Shalena; grandchild, Addilyn Grace Harper; sister, Connie Michelle Gaylor; several nieces, nephews & cousins.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jeff Mims & Bro. Greg St. Charles, officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Stacy Hollaway, Dewayne Hollaway, Darrell Harper, Wesley Morgan, Marvin Rowland & Eric Rowland.
Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Friday June 29, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
