John T. Martinek was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 12, 1945.
Mr. Martinek was a retired cashier for Pilot Travel Center. In 2011 he moved to Savannah, Tennessee. Mr. Martinek loved to go to yard sales.
On September 4, 1990, he was united in marriage to Catherine Sue Hill, who survives.
He departed this life on June 1, 2018 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 72 years, 8 months and 20 days.
In addition to his wife, Catherine of 27 years, he is survived by his two children, William R. Hill, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Christine Tanner of the Nixon community in Savannah, Tennessee and six grandchildren, Hannah Hill, Cody Hill, Trevor Hill, Landon Tanner, Alyssa Tanner and Sara Beth Tanner.
