Mr. David Lee Boutwell, 42, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018, at UAB Hospital. Born in Florence and a graduate of Russellville High School, David was a member of Cornerstone Church in Central. He loved his family, and that love was certainly mutual. He was employed by Pilgrim’s as shipping supervisor and worked until his health prevented him from doing so.
Mr. Boutwell is survived by his wife Kristen Boutwell; parents, Ronnie and Jacquie Boutwell; children, Eric Boutwell, Belle Huffaker, Maggie Huffaker and Jill Huffaker; brother, Mike Boutwell and his wife Greta; sister-in-law, Kim Seal and husband Randy; brother-in-law, Kevin Smith and wife Kristi; mother-in-law, Linda Wood; and grandmother, Annie Ruth Cook. Other survivors include nephews and nieces: Alex, Eli and Paden Boutwell, Jacob and Josh Seal, Zac and Carson Smith; and Avery Claire and Morgan Boutwell; greatnephew, Blaze McCafferty; and aunt, Jane Thompson. Other relatives and friends also survive him.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clyde (Pa Clyde) Cook and great grandfather, Claude Cook.
