Mrs. Geraldean “Jerry” S. Lawson, age 77, of Arab, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018.
Mrs. Lawson was born on April 6, 1941 in Etowah, Tennessee to C.V. Standridge and Nora Dean Maynor Standridge. She moved from the Athens, Tennessee area to Arab in 1963. She retired from the public school system in 2002. She was a member of the Guntersville Ladies Civitan Club, loved games, puzzles & the company of her friends.
Mrs. Lawson was a faithful member of Gilliam Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years Charles V. Lawson; son, Chuck Lawson; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl & Ronny Bearden; grandchildren, Bradey Bearden & Brian Bearden. Preceded in death by her parents, C.V. Standridge and Nora Dean Maynor Standridge.
Pallbearers will include: Mark McDaniel, Jimmy Williams, Brian Bearden, Bradley Bearden, Clark Sparks & Ed Higdon.
Services will be announced at a later date.
Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel is directing services.
