Richard “Dick” Frederick Stickney – Obituary

Mr. Richard “Dick” Frederick Stickney, age 74, a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday morning, May 17, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

 

Born on June 1, 1943 in Massena, New York, Dick was the son of Ina Boice Stickney and the late Leon Frederick Stickney. He was an extremely hard worker who worked over thirty years at Alcoa Aluminum before retiring at the age of fifty-eight. He was an avid Nashville Predators hockey fan and enjoyed watching his sons play hockey and travelling with their hockey teams when they were younger. Dick also loved Tennessee Titans football and especially loved all of his pets.

 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Bonnie Stickney; sons: Randy Stickney of Massena, NY, Ricky (Shelly) Stickney of Massena, NY; brothers: Ronald Stickney, Robert Stickney; grandchildren: Rachel Stickney, Miriah Stickney, Tanner Stickney; and great grandchildren: Evie Ryan, Indie Rose, and Lucy Evelyn.

 

Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
