Margaret White Boudreau – Obituary

Margaret White Boudreau entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer, with her loving family by her side.

Margaret was born September 15, 1936 in Hartselle, AL. She attended and was a 1954 graduate of Athens High School in Athens, AL. After a career at Redstone Arsenal, she worked in the Huntsville area at Jean’s, Valerie Fursdon’s Antiques, and Steinmart where she befriended everyone she met.

Margaret was a member of First United Methodist in Huntsville and was a true follower of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Through her active years, she enjoyed spending time with her family and a multitude of dear friends, playing bridge, traveling the world, gardening, and entertaining with her supper club. Her quick wit will always be remembered.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Legg White, father, William McKinley White, brother, William Legg White, sister, Bessie White Holland, and nephews, Dale White and Baxter Moorer.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Charles Ernest Boudreau; son, Charles Rheney Boudreau; sisters, Ramona White Moorer, Joyce White Rheney, and Joy White Trousdale; brother, James Michael White (Carolyn); sister-in-law, Jody McQuisten; 27 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; and loving friends.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at First United Methodist Church. A memorial service will follow at 11 at the church with Dr. Glenn Conner officiating.  A private burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to First United Methodist Church of Huntsville, the American Cancer Society, or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
