Margaret Gibson Higgins, 86 of Florence passed away Monday, April 30, 2018. Visitation will be Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home Florence with the funeral service following in the chapel. Burial will follow in Tri –Cities Memorial Gardens.
Margaret was a long-time resident of Florence. She was a loving and sacrificial mother and grandmother who was a fan of anything her children were involved in doing. She was an avid flower gardener and enjoyed attending church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Higgins; and grandson, Kevin Greer.
Margaret was survived by her sons Marion Higgins (Melanie), Randall Higgins (Karen); daughters, Martha Greer, Melissa Haddock (Randal); sisters, Jane Sullivan (James), Effie Wise; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
