Funeral for Sherry Lee, 74, of Decatur, who passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018, at UAB Hospital will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home with Brother Matt Campbell officiating. Burial will be at Decatur City Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lee was born Dec. 3, 1943 to Jim and Myrtle Cannon. She was a graduate of Marengo County High School and attended the University of West Alabama. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Decatur, Alabama. She was preceded in death by spouse, Larry Lee; and brother, James Reed Cannon.
Surviving family is sons, Russell Lee and wife, Stephanie Lee, Randall Lee and deceased spouse, Beth Lee; grandchildren, Whitney Guin and spouse, Shaun Guin, of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, Kelsey and Jaxon Lee, of Falkville, Alabama, Savannah and John Russell, of Hartselle, Alabama; great-grandchildren, Henry, Sarah, and Caroline Guin, of Vestavia Hills, Alabama; and sister, Doris McBride, married to Louis McBride.
Pallbearers are Bryant Greenwell, Danny Hill, John Holland, Jimbo Glass, Todd McBride, and Jeremy Yarbrough.
