John Michael Gardner, 57, died Saturday, March 17, 2018 at his residence after an extended illness. John was born Nov. 15, 1961 in Aurora, Ill. to Dorman and Daisy Stanford Gardner. He was an energetic storyteller, loved fishing and spending time with his friends, family and his grandchildren.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
Survivors include his wife Sonja Gardner of Pontotoc, three daughters, Nikki Gardner of Amory, Julan Lincks of Pontotoc, and Nicole Dardar (Tony) of Golden Meadow, LA.; two sons, Cochise Lincks and Sequoyah Lincks (Christina) all of Pontotoc; two sisters, Jan Stratton (Jeff) of Guntown and Jayne Southerland of Memphis; his grandchildren Kaitlyn, Turner and 13 other grands that all loved him dearly, and one great granddaughter, one niece Jessica Orman of Tupelo; and two nephews, Josh Orman of Nashville, and Brad Dye (Gina) of Meridian, and his best friend Danny Spurr of Verona. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson Mannen Lincks.
