Shirley Mae Hester, 69, died Sunday, February 18, 2018 at her residence. She was born March 22, 1948 in Mississippi and worked as a seamstress for twenty-five years.
Services will be Tuesday, February 20, 3 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Tim Humphries officiating. Burial will be in Old Burleson Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are three children – Brandon Hester (Sally) and Melissa Works (Danny) all of Golden, MS and Charles Stephen Hester, Red Bay, AL; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers – Randy Wooten, Charles Wooten and J.W. Wooten and one sister – Jeanette Wooten.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Wooten and Lela Ivey Wooten and a sister, Gail Hisaw.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 20, 1-3 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God, Red Bay, AL
