Pauline Minor, 74, of Leighton, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018. Her visitation will be Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Greg Beasley officiating. Burial will be in Shaw Cemetery.
Mrs. Minor served approximately 20 years as a volunteer firefighter and served on the fire department’s board for 1 year. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Minor.
She is survived by her sons, Frankie Dewayne Minor (Annette) and Barry Glen Minor (Stacie); grandson, Tyler Minor; 4 step-grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Keller Hospice.
The firefighters from White Oak Volunteer Fire Department will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben and Mark Tidwell and Chris Miller.
