Faye Nell McDaniel Beasley, 86, passed away, Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Country Wood Manor in Mantachie. Faye was born October 3, 1931 to Eric C. McDaniel and Lema Faye Wilburn McDaniel in the Evergreen Community. In 1950, she graduated from Itawamba Agricultural High School and married Gerald Beasley. Before Gerald’s death in 2013, they enjoyed traveling. After 40 years, Faye retired as a branch manager working at multiple locations of Deposit Guarantee. Faye was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. Faye enjoyed playing bridge , needle pointing and working in her yard.
Faye survivors include her brother and best friend, T. C. McDaniel and his wife, Shirley of Tupelo; sister-in-law, Sara McDaniel of Evergreen; brother-in-law, Wayne Beasley of Tupelo; nephews, Tommy McDaniel of Tupelo, Steve McDaniel and his wife, Sharon of Tupelo, Justin McDa4niel and his wife, Ashley of Tupelo, Dillon McDaniel of Tupelo, Preston McDaniel of the Evergreen Community, Colin Wilburn of Evergreen Community and Pat Beasley of Tupelo; neices, Stephanie Hunt and her husband, Bryan of Tupelo, Molly Mills of Evergreen Community, Jourdan McDaniel of Tupelo, Jayce McDaniel of Tupelo, Sherrie Sheffield of Columbus and Mitzie Brock of Greenville; great-nephew, Logan Estes, Eli Algood and Blaine Nichols all of Tupelo and Cowen McDaniel of Greenwood; great-neices, Sarah Hodges of Greenwood and lifelong best friends, Sara London, Caroline Willis and Bobbie Denman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, German McDaniel; nephew, Mark McDaniel; sister-in-law, Nelle Beasley and nephew-in-law, Tim Mills.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday, February 6, 2018, W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Chaplin David Laman officiating. Private graveside service will follow at New Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Faye’s nephews.
