William Edward Blevins age 85 of Huntsville, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Tut Fann Veterans Home. Mr. Blevins was born October 11, 1932 in Watergap, KY to Daniel Blevins and Ammie Skaggs Blevins.
Mr. Blevins loved working on cars, gardening, most of all he loved his family and he loved his coffee!
Preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Elizabeth Vallance Blevins; parents, Daniel and Ammie Blevins.
Survived by one daughter, Melissa Blevins Nesbit of Huntsville, AL; son-in-law, Richard A. Nesbit of Huntsville, AL; one granddaughter, Brooklynn A. Nesbit; six brothers, Jimmy Ray Blevins, J.K. Blevins, Paul Blevins, Lonnie Lee Blevins, Jerry Roger Blevins and Harold Blevins all of Michigan; brother-in-law, Edward Dobias of Sun City, FL and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 12:00PM at Ford’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 280 Ford’s Chapel Drive Harvest, AL 35749.
