Ruth Boseck, 100, of Belle Mina, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017. Mrs. Boseck was born on Oct. 17, 1917, in Mooresville, Alabama to Claude and Lou Eliza Oliver. Ruth spent her life in service to others, providing care to family and friends for over 80 years. Mrs. Boseck was a retired postmaster serving Belle Mina and Mooresville, Alabama. She married John Boseck on Nov. 11, 1937. She was an active member of Greenbrier Church of Christ.
She is survived by her two children, Fred Boseck (Janet) and Frances Graves (Granville); nieces, Lou Leleaux (Ray) and Joan Smith (Rowe); several other nieces and nephews, six grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with John Bryson officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AGAPE of North Alabama.
