John Denton, formerly of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, at the age of 42. His visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bubba Cole officiating. Burial will be in Railroad Cemetery.
John was a machinist at General Dynamics and attended Highland Park Baptist Church. He was a member of the Moose Lodge Legion 115 and the Machinist Local 1458. John was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Shelley Brown; mother, Reba Sims; son, John Sawyer Denton; daughter, Kayla Santiago; brother, Andrew Denton; sister, Melanie Culp (Jimmy); aunts, Beverly Denton and Judy Miskelly; and nephew, Jace Culp.Jo
