TODAY is our second annual UNA Giving Day, which coincides with the global day of philanthropy, #GivingTuesday. For 24 hours only, alumni and friends will unite to support the mission of UNA! Last year we were able to raise over $41,000 for scholarships and various campus initiatives. Remember, gifts of all sizes make a difference. Join us in making a positive impact in the lives of our students.

President and First Lady Make First Gift

President and Mrs. Kitts wanted to demonstrate their commitment to the UNA Foundation by making the first gift on UNA Giving Day. Dr. Kitts commented, “Dena and I were humbled by the outpouring of support UNA received on Giving Day last year, and we are excited to see alumni and friends join us again this year to make a significant impact for our students. We are so thankful for the continued support received from the UNA family!” The President and First Lady ask that you join in the excitement by making a gift towards the fund of your choice. “There is no gift too small. Collectively, we can and will make a difference,” encouraged Mrs. Kitts. Please join President and Mrs. Kitts in making the second UNA Giving Day a success!

Start a Givalanche

We want to keep the momentum rolling all day! To help, we have a tool called a “givalanche”. Once you make your online gift, you will be given the option to start a givalanche of your own. By clicking the link provided, your participation in UNA Giving Day will be shared on Facebook, and you can challenge your friends to give as well. This will also allow you to keep up with how much revenue is brought in as a result of your challenge.

Once you give, we want you to tell your friends! We have created a temporary custom frame for your Facebook profile picture to let your friends know you supported UNA.
