Cody Wayne Haynes, 20, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017. Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Talladega Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Steven Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Stockdale Baptist Church Cemetery.
Cody lived most of his life in Talladega. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was certified in line clearing at Affordable Tree Service of Muscle Shoals.
Cody was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Kyle Haynes. Mr. Haynes is survived by his father, William Anthony Haynes (Alexa); mother, Christy Gurley (Jeremiah); grandparents, Jerry Wilson, Norma Jane Herrington, Linda Hensley Haynes, and William Thomas Haynes Jr.; brother, Scott Haynes; sister, Krislynn Gurley; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends. Pallbearers will be Michael Williams, Cody Hester, Cody Ford, Jonathan Haynes, Ethan Stillwell, and Nathan Haynes. Honorary pallbearers are Gabe Hester, Jonathan Devin Haynes, and Tyler Williams.
Talladega Funeral Home will be directing the services.
