James Richard Maxcy, 78, of Hartselle, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born May 25, 1939, in Red Bay, Alabama, to Rex Grover Maxcy and Sarah Elizabeth Hardin Maxcy. He was employed as a mechanical engineer for the Robert Shaw Company prior to his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents.
