Benjamin Ray Watkins, age 69, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden.
Mr. Watkins proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Purple Heart Award.
The visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 03, 2017 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Scott Delashaw and Bro. Gary Yielding officiating. Burial will be at Vandiver Hollow Cemetery with full military honors.
