Betty Cole Willerton, 72, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at her residence. She was a 1963 graduate of Lauderdale County High School, attended Florence State, and graduated from the University of North Alabama with a degree in photography in 1995. Betty was a very talented artist who loved making baby dolls, painting, photography, and genealogy.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 8, 2017, from 9-10 a.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the chapel with James Waddell officiating. Pallbearers will be Dempsey White, Donald White, Johnny White, James Shedd, Chris Cole, and Jamy Cole.
Mrs. Willerton was preceded in death by her parents, Spencer and Ethel Cole, and husband, Richard Willerton.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Willerton, and numerous cousins.
