Mary Lou Odom Thomas, formerly of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away Monday, June 26, 2017. She was 84. Visitation will be at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia, Alabama on July 1st from 10-11 a.m. Services will immediately follow in the chapel with Brian Holden officiating. Interment will be at Glendale Cemetery.
Mary was a member of the 20th Avenue Church of God in Vero Beach, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; ten brothers and sisters; and her son, James Wendell Thomas.
She is survived by her loving husband, Henry A. Thomas Jr.; son, Henry D. Thomas (Kathy); daughters, Barbara Thomas and Melody Franklin (Monty); grandchildren, Matthew Thomas, Sarah Smith (Brian), and Lilianna Thomas; and great-grandchildren, Rosalee “Rosie” Smith and Reed Conrad Smith. Granny loved her family, and her family loved her. She was always thinking of others first. She will be greatly missed!
