George Dillard Sisson, Jr., age 88 of Huntsville passed away Tues., June 13, 2017.
Mr. Sisson is survived by his wife Mary C. Sisson; one son Dr. Mark T. Sisson, one daughter Deborah & Bill Johnson; sister Lillian S. McGregor; three grandchildren Heather Greenwood, Andrea L. Sisson, Aaron T. Sisson; and one great-granddaughter Hadley Ann Greenwood.
Mr. Sisson was a native of Tarrant City, AL, and a resident of Madison County, for over 42 years. He retired from the U.S. Army with 31 years of service to his country as a colonel.
Visitation for Mr. Sisson is Sunday, June 18, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. THe funeral service is Monday, June 19, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Ralph Snowden, followed by a graveside service at AL National Cemetery in Montevallo at 2:45 p.m. on Monday.
