Edward Lee Thigpen, 92, of Rogersville passed away Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. He was a member of Romine Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 7th, 2017 from 3 – 5 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the chapel. Burial will be in Hammond Cemetery.
Mr. Thigpen was preceded in death by his parents, George & Alma Thigpen; brothers, Milton, Cliff, Chess and Andy Thigpen; son, James Thigpen; wife, Omie Lee Thigpen. He is survived by his children, Ray (Jewelene) Thigpen, Charlotte Gatlin, Sandy (Jimmy) Black and Randy (Gail) Thigpen; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; sister, Virginia Allen.
